What do you do for a living.

As for me, I am retired from the Fire Service.  I was a dispatcher for the county I live in for 20 years.  Started in Lake Arrowhead and was then transfered to Rialto where back in 02, fell in a hole and that ended my career.  I was going for 25 years of service but it wasn't in the cards for me.

OK you're turn!

What do I do for a living?

I work at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in the Medical Genetics Department.  Love doing my job.  I work for a Pediatric Geneticist.  I have only been there 3 1/2 years.  I have been in CA a little over 4 years.  :)  I will be going back to school in January so I can obtain my degree in psychology.

Started my journey - 450 lbs (VBG)
Had a revision at - 262 lbs (RNY)

I work for O'Melveny & Myers LLP, the oldest law firm in Los Angeles.  Been here 20 years and 3 months.
I am hoping to return to school in the Fall, to pursue my real dream ... becoming a registered nurse.

I am a retired Letter Carrier.  I worked for 23 years.  They ruined my shoulders and I could not carry mail any more so I had to retire.  Boy do I love being retired!

I'm an admin assistant to the Director of Operations for the western region at Medco.

Medco is the largest managed pharmacy benefit provider in the US and they also have the largest pharmacy-by-mail operation in the country. I've been here five years.

I work for Munger Tolles & Olson LLP in San Francisco.  Litigation assistant specializing in trial work.  Next year I will be a 25 year veteran of the legal field.  Love my job - its exciting but oftentimes stressful with long hours - and I think I'm still relatively sane.

December will be 20 years at one of the Big 4 accounting firms . . . and 10 years at another one before that . . . and misc stuff in between . . . mostly as a statistical typist . . .then word processor . . .and now Executive Assistant with ruined hands :(  Been in San Diego doing this since 1970.

Next week I get the electric shock tests on my hands to see how bad they are . . . probably surgery on both of them (but not at the same time!)

DON'T do them both at once, I did and it sucked!!!! I had to be TOTALLY dependent on my hubby.  Hate the EEG, sucks too, but necessary to make final diagnosis.   Prayers are with you sweetie!
Make sure if you do have surgery that you get PT afterwards. I didn't and have little strength in both hands!!!
